Minnesota Mad Dogs, Danielle Terwilliger, Season 34
The Mad Dogs end up with a record of 7 - 7 during season 34, they just missed the playoffs. What makes this unique is that the Mad Dogs lost 5 games that season by 2 points or less. The Mad Dogs are the only team to lose that many games by 2 points or less.
New Orleans Nighthawks, Ken Scott, Season 6 - 11
The New Orleans Nighthawks were a part of TFF for 6 seasons from season 6 through season 11. The unique fact about the Nighthawks tenure was that they never won a single game in week 1 or week 14.
Arizona Heat, Mike Graf, Season 8
Jacksonville Dread, Dan Viggiano III, Season 24
In the history of the TFF we've had a number of teams sweep their division, but only two teams have ever swept all of their out of division games (8 - 0). The Arizona Heat did it back in season 8 going 12 - 2, while the Jacksonville Dread did it in season 24 going 9 - 5. The Heat defeated another two out of division opponents in the playoffs and won the Fantasy Bowl that season. The Dread lost to an out of division opponent in the Wildcard round of their respective season.
Jacksonville Dread, Dan Viggiano III, Season 28
In season 28, the Jacksonville Dread found themselves with a record of 8 - 1 going into week 10 of the season. They would face the Green Bay Avalanche with a record of 1 - 8 and lose to the Avalanche 68 - 66. The following week (11), the now 8 - 2 Dread would face the Tampa Bay Beauties who were 2 - 8 and lose to the Beauties 47 - 44. The dread would lose their remaining 3 games of the season to the Nitro, Riots, and the Goldminers. The Dread would defeat the Goldminers in the Wildcard round, but then lose again to the Nitro in the Championship round.
Seattle Roasters, Erika Brown, Season 35
In season 35 The Seattle Roasters would lose their final three games of the regular season. Then would sweep through the playoffs and win the Fantasy Bowl, becoming the team with the most losses to end a season and still win the Fantasy Bowl. The previous longest losing streak to end a season and still win it all was only 1 game.
