To win the Fantasy Bowl, you really need to win some close games. The Texans in the 7th season won 4 close games. Weeks 4 & 6 they won by 2 points, week 10 they won by 1 point and in week 11 they won by 3 points. The Texans become the only team to win 4 games by a fieldgoal or less in a single season. Which is still the record to this day. Incidentally, the Texans also had a tie in week 9 & in the Wildcard game of the playoffs and also won by 4 points in week 2.

700 total points in a regular season has only been achieved 8 times. The Dominion scored 756 total points during the 20th season, Which is still the record to this day.

Since this fact was inducted, the Goldminers scored 40+ points in 13 games of the 14 game schedule. Which is now the new record. The Riots tied the record by scoring 40+ in 13 games of the 14 game schedule. Now the Dread tie the record as well.

The Titans, Stampede, Chowderheads, Goldminers, Beef, and the 69ers all lose to the Dread on opening day for 6 seasons in a row (seasons 8 - 13).
Since this fact was inducted, the Destroyers have defeated the Dominion, Flood, Mustangs, Avalanche, and the Riots 3 times to break the record of the opening day win streak (7).
Denver 69ers, Mike DeWall, Season 17

In the 17th season, the 69ers scored 577 total points. It was only 8.2% of all the points scored that season and they were the 8th highest in total points for that season. All those stats don't mean a thing though, the 69ers won Fantasy Bowl XVII.
Since this fact was inducted, the Mustangs only scored 7.84% of all the points scored for that season. They were the 10th highest in total points and won Fantasy Bowl XXXII.

Our 2nd unanimously voted fact: As mentioned above, ties are not all that common. These two teams have the dubious distinction of being the only two teams to have tied each other twice in the same season (week 1, 40 - 40 then in week 12, 43 - 43).

Almost as impressive as the Heat's season mentioned above, the Goldminers were the Heat's only 2 losses.

Having the best record in a season (#1 seed) is hard to do. The Mustangs are the only to have had the best record in back to back seasons.

Scoring the most points for a position in a season isn't if you draft the right players. The Titans had the most points scored for the runningback position 4 seasons in a row. Which is still the record to this day. Of course, when your franchise player was Emmitt Smith, that made it a little easier.

As mentioned above, earning the best record or #1 seed is hard to do. The Dread could have been the #1 seed with a win or could have been knocked out of the playoffs with a loss. Fortunately for the Dread, they won the last week of the season and took the #3 seed. Had the Dread lost that week, they would have lost out on the tie breaking scenarios and been bumped out of the playoffs.
The Steamers had a similar situation. If they win and got some help, they could have been the #1 seed. With other games playing out right and a loss by 72 points, they could have been knocked out of the playoffs. The Steamers did lose the last game of the season, but by only 17 points. The Steamers took the #3 seed as well.
Kansas City Beef, Tim Klimasewski, Season 13
If you won the Fantasy Bowl during seasons 2 - 12, then it's likely you lost the next season to the Kansas City Beef. Over the 11 seasons the Beef played, they were 11 - 2 against the TFF champion of the previous season.

Week 11 of the 23rd season, the Mustangs defeat the Dallas Texans 22 - 20. Meanwhile the Goldminers lose to the Jacksonville Dread 67 - 63. Making the difference between the highest losing score and the lowest winning score in the same week 41 points. Which is still a record to this day. Incidentally, that 41 points would have defeated 6 other teams that week.
Since this fact was inducted, the Steamers defeat the Baltimore Flood 31 - 25 in the Championship game of season 30. Meanwhile the Mustangs score 81 points and lose to the Jacksonville Dread 106 - 81. Making this the new record for the difference between the highest losing score and the lowest winning score in the same week (50 points).

The Dread amass a respectable record of 9 - 5 in the 24th season, earning them the top Wildcard spot in the playoffs. What is unique is they were 1 - 5 when facing their division opponents and 8 - 0 vs. out of division opponents.

Our 3rd unanimously voted fact: The Cardinals defeated in their last 4 games of the 25th season, the top 4 seeds of the playoffs. Week 14: 2nd seed, Wildcard game: 4th seed, Championship Game: 1st seed and the Fantasy Bowl: 3rd seed.

Winning the Fantasy Bowl as mentioned above is not an easy thing to do. These 2 teams win their respective Fantasy Bowls by defeating the top 3 seeded teams.
