The Avalanche make the playoffs as a wildcard team in the 13th season with a 7 - 6 - 1 record. What makes this unique is that the Avalanche went 7 - 0 - 1 against out of division opponents that season, while losing all 6 games against their division rivals.

Cleveland Steamers, Drew McNaulty, Season 18
Jacksonville Dread, Dan Viggiano III, Season 25
Though losing the Wildcard game of the 18th season, the Steamers started the season 0 - 4, but ended up with a 7 - 7 record to capture a wildcard spot. The Dread started 0 - 4 in the 25th season as well. They ended up with an 8 - 5 - 1 record to take the #3 seed. The Dread eventually lose the Fantasy Bowl to the St Louis Fighting Cardinals. Both are still tied for the 2nd longest losing streak to start a season and still make the playoffs.

The Avalanche amassed a 10 season win streak in week 9 of the 13th season through the 22nd season. Which is still the record to this day.

Pittsburgh Prowlers, Mike Ferraby, Season 23
If a team has 2 players on their team that tie the all time high score for that position in a season, one would say they drafted well. The Prowlers had this happen in 1 game. In the Wildcard game of the 23rd season, the Prowlers started Jamaal Charles who scored 37 points and started Justin Tucker who scored 22 points. As mentioned, both tying the high score runningback & kicker. The Prowlers end up scoring 90 points. Which is still the highest score for the Wildcard game to this day.

Making the Beef the team with the highest win percentage when playing one player (minimum 50 games). The Beef went on to lose the Championship game in season 5 and lose 3 straight Fantasy Bowls in season 6 - 8.


Since this fact was inducted, the Avalanche's franchise player from season 21 - 27 was DeMarco Murray, During that stretch he played in 72 games and winning 46 of those games. That's a 63.89 win percentage. Making the Avalanche the team with the highest win percentage when playing one player (minimum 50 games). Breaking the Beef's previous record of 63.79%. The Avalanche went on to win 2 Fantasy Bowls (21 & 24), lose 1 Fantasy Bowl (26) and lose 1 Championship game (25).

In season 15, the Destroyers enter the playoffs as the 5th seed and defeat the Philadelphia Smack in the Fantasy Bowl. What's unique about this fact is that the Destroyers defeated the #1, #2 and the #6 seed once and the #4 seed twice in the last 5 games of the season. Week 13: #4 seed, week 14: #6 seed, Wildcard game: #4 seed, Championship game: #2 seed and the Fantasy Bowl: #1 seed.

In season 15, the Destroyers become the only team, still to this day, to have the most points scored against them during the regular season and win the Fantasy bowl.

The Destroyers played in 10 Championship games of 13 consecutive seasons from seasons 13 - 29. Winning 4 of the 9 games and then winning 2 of those 4 games in the Fantasy Bowls. Side note, the Destroyers were not in the league from season 25 - 28.
